The hotel is an easy 15 min walk to the old city. We managed to find a free parking spot right outside the door. The rooms are nicely done out, clean & comfortable. Some staff speak excellent English, others less so. All very helpful though. Very smart but good value hotel
The room we had for the 1st night (right at the back) was a bit cigarette smelly and had loud intermittent humming noise coming from a flat above all night. The guy on reception the next morning was very helpful and moved us to another room. Still noise from corridor (all hard surfaces) & bit of snoring from room next door - but overall much better.

The room was clean and comfortable, the hostal was nicely decorated. We felt safe in the area, close to the old city center (about 1 mile away). Front desk helpful. I would stay here again.

It is a very good hostal, may be with the best-looking and comfortable room and facilities we met among the hotels of similar rate level in our spain tour.

I keep coming back to this place for good reasons. The staff once helped me find my lost necklace. It has everything I need: Wi-Fi, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, and a bar. It suits me perfectly. I'll be back for the weekend.

Location & Price
When we arrived the desk clerk asked for all our passports. We had only brought 2 (one for each room) as is customary elsewhere in Spain. The clerk was very reluclant to book us in saying it was a local police requirement. If this is the case it should be stated on the booking information. This would save any problems.

The rooms are very clean, the staff friendly and helpful (although my ropey Spanish was the only language going). The aircon is super-efficient; especially in the communal areas. The lounge area was a very pleasant place to spend the night chatting and using the PC provided. Wifi in the rooms also worked well.
Getting the luggage from the underground parking to the room (even reception is on the 1st floor) was tricky with no lift/elevator. The double bed had a plastic mattress protector under the sheets. Breakfast seemed to be a coffee, a (delicious) fresh orange and a single slice of toast, meaning a roadside stop for lunch came quicker than usual.

Good value for the price. Staff was nice.
Somewhat noisy as sounds seemed to carry down the hallways into our rooms.

We had a car but did not want to drive it inside of the city. This hotel was conveniently located right next to a bus stop which took us directly into the center of Toledo. So the location was great for us.
The walls are thin and there are apartments upstairs. We could hear the noise from the upstairs apts., Including someone practicing a flute for several hours. However, the hotel was quiet at night and we had no trouble sleeping.
